While my images seem to have a definite style, I’m always looking for models that can produce images with me that are a little bit different in some way to those I’ve already produced, and this gets harder and harder the more shoots I do. I’ve admired the amazing Ayla for some time, but sadly she lives some distance from me so we never quite managed to work together.
Strangely enough I don’t know that many places to shoot near my home town of Birmingham, and I’m usually shooting in far flung places, but when I knew Ayla was visiting I just had to take the opportunity to book her, even though I hadn’t got any spectacular locations. However, you don’t need spectacular locations when you have a spectacular model :)
I’ve seen her produce some gravity-defying poses in many images with other photographers, but was still surprised at her energy and her ability to produce dynamic poses using the rather plain environment I put her in. So here’s some of the images we produced, with plenty more to come.
Thanks so much Ayla, it was a great day, I am amazed at how effortless you made it all look, and it makes me feel exhausted just looking at the images :)
