As mentioned in a previous blog post I had an amazingly productive and enjoyable trip to Iceland with Regina Piil, earlier in the year.
This post contains the next batch of images that I have edited, with plenty more still to come.
We’ll start with more from the well known black sand beach, and the basalt columns.
The next image I shot both wide and closer up.
When we arrived at the beach there were actually another model and photographer already shooting there, the model was the very well known Artemis Fauna, and she and her photographer were happy to allow some duo shots.
And one just around the corner.
The rest of the images were taken at a red volcanic crater we found in the central region of Iceland.
We’ll start with a shot before we climbed the crater.
The rest were taken at the top of the crater, with a variety of wide and close-up perspectives.
Many thanks to Regina – and Artemis and her photographer – for the fabulous images, I look forward to creating many more with you.

Outstanding. The fiery red hair against the dark and grey background is striking. I probably would have edited her paler so the red is the main source of colour but the way you have let her skin retain it’s warm tones feels like the her whole body is aglow and I love it.
