Many of the shoots I have done with Lulu seem to involve rocks, indeed my MFIAP panel was based on our shared love of rocky locations. Artistically I like the contrast between hard rough texture of rocks, and the smooth soft skin of Lulu. Practically, a rocky environment also gives Lulu something to interact with.
Last year we visited an extremely rocky island, which is much less popular than many places as I’ve not seen anybody running workshops or trips there.
Here’s some of the fabulous rocks we found there, starting with a rocky cove.

These rocks were very interesting, and I have no idea how they were formed.

And as you can tell from the shadow this was very early in the monring.
Many thanks to Lulu for posing in what are uncomfortable environments, and for all the great images we have created over the years.
