Well last weekend I finished my 6th shoot from the last 7 weekends – the other weekend I went away with my lovely and supportive wife, without whose support I could not pursue my hobby, and just took some snaps. I didn’t mean to arrange such a busy schedule, but potential shoots just kept coming up that I just had to do and they could only happen on a particular weekend. But, you only live once!
Now these images aren’t from those shoots, as those images are still marinating on my hard drive, but they are safely backed up in triplicate. So these are a random selection of images I have been working on recently.
So we start with model I have never worked with before, the beautiful Carla Monaco. This was taken on a beach near sunset waiting for the public to disappear before we could do any nudes. However I do like this shot with the cape we used as a quick way of undressing/dressing. Always the opportunist :)
Next we have the lovely Kayleigh Lush who needs no introduction. Taken at a window on the outside of where I work, I had just bought Color Efex and quite liked one of the treatments. I quite like the square halo above her head where one of the glass bricks has been reseated.
Next we have the superb Raphaella looking good against various rocks, both natural and manmade structures, messing around again courtesy of my newly purchased Color Efex Pro!
And last but definitely not least, even though this is a back shot and in mono, the wonderful Holly. This is the first of this series I have converted to mono and I think it works very well indeed. I love the indents in her back caused by her curving her torso, and she has posed just perfectly with part of her bottom overhanging the lip of the rock so instead of her cheeks being flat they make beautiful curves. That is what you get when you hire a good model, such as any in this post, that little extra something that improves the image.
No more shoots booked now until September, when I want to do something different, but I haven’t quite worked out what different is yet!
Thanks as always to all the wonderful models for making mine such an enjoyable hobby.

I was dying to see a new post from you, and here it is!!!
I love the Carla Monaco photo. It’s a timeless photo; it could be from anytime in history. The hazy mountains are prefect.
The halo photo is very evocative. Is someone being crucified at work? ;)
Enough blah blah from me………..
I was gonna write something emotional and excited, but I soon realized UrbanP already did it – so – i sign under everything he said and add – of course you know my passion for anything Holly and her shot is original and unique.
I agree on taking a break and opening a new chapter to your art. Don’t rush it. Let it find you. It always does ;)
Thank you Mr Pope and Pix, and I am pleased they provoked an emotion.
As someone has commented elsewhere, nature took millions of years dripping water to create that lovely hole in the rock, just to fit Holly and no other reason ;-)
It took nearly 50 years for my art to find me last time, hopefully it will be a bit quicker this time.
And while hopefully the images will be different, the cast will remain the same in September with myself, Fredau, Chrissie Red and someone called Holly :)
Superb as always The first and last of the images are my favourites – kindest regards Elizabeth xx
As always thank you Elizabeth, and the Carla and Holly shot seem to be very popular.
Beautiful photographs Tim. Love Carla!
Thank you Angela, nice to hear from you. I use the comments on my blog in my thought processes, so it’s interesting to see that you like the Carla image as well.
Hope your studio is going well.
A fine set of different images Tim. Like the one of Carla as its timeless.
hope the shoot last weekend was as productive.
Thank you Richard, sadly all of the weekends were productive, I am going to have so many great images I don’t know what to do with them!
