There are so many great models about that it’s often difficult to decide who to work with, due to constraints on both time and finances. However I’ve always made it known that I’m happy for models to contact me if they’d like to work with me and think I’d probably like to work with them, and a lot of travelling models do this. With new models I’m usually looking for someone who can produce images that are a bit different in some way to my existing portfolio, so I was very pleased when the rather intriguing Roarie Yum told me she was passing by. I think she has a very interesting look, and I really liked the very natural way she poses in many of her images.
I had to find nearby locations as there wasn’t enough time to travel to some of the more distant places I often use. So I decided upon a local Urbex-style studio, and also some time at a private outdoor location that I have access to.
Here’s some of the urbex shots, the sky was overcast so the light was quite lovely:
And here’s a few from outdoors:
Thank you Roarie, I really enjoyed our shoot and love the images we produced together. Come back soon :)
