I’m getting ready for my shoot with the wonderful Lulu Lockhart in a few days time, and really hoping that it is less eventful than the previous one. We had arranged to go to North Wales for the weekend with another photographer Dinah Jayes, and I was driving home from work with a good 2.5 hours to spare before I had to pick Lulu up from the station. I was around one mile from home and then heard a strange noise, followed by lot of warning messages lights appearing on the dashboard, and the car gracefully gliding to a halt. I couldn’t see anything untoward under the bonnet or under the car, so called the breakdown company, they arrived 45 minutes later, and left 30 minutes after that totally stumped and with their diagnostic boxes not able to resolve the fault, and saying they would have to send a tow truck to take me to a garage. It was not looking good!
Well I think the moral of this post is to never give up, and the thought of missing a shoot with a superb model can make you work miracles. Images of a beautiful model and free motoring tips, what more can you ask from a blog post!
So not only do I have to thank Lulu who must be a lucky charm, but also our good friends Google, and mostly the unknown person who posted the solution on how to fix my car. Let’s hope this next shoot is nice and boring :)
