I had a really enjoyable shoot with the lovely Amethyst in north Wales, after only meeting her for the first time at a short studio shoot a few weeks before.
We had a really productive time, and unsurprisingly visited a number of slate quarries.
Here’s some winding gear.
And the winding wheel, which was at Amethyst height.
I like the contrast here, between her pale skin and the black slate background.
And three of a slate fence.
A couple of arches at two different quarries.
And some interesting walls.
A little room with nice light from above, and some bushes with similar light.
Amethyst on top of a pile of slate.
One of the quarries has a great waterfall.
And a couple of interesting shots with a drone.
Many thanks Amethyst for all the great images, and I look forward to our next trip which is further afield.

Tim, you should get up earlier! I think you meant, “Slate Quarries”. Sorry not to see any of your Images in MoP #6 Glyn
I spotted the typo as well :)
No nudes at all in MOP, probably one or more of the judges don’t like them, which happens sometimes with competitions, it’s just the way it is!
7, 9 and 2 from the end favourites… Another Book in the pipeline? Wot no Print in MoP, or do they not accept figure for pubic exhibition? Glyn
They do accept nudes in the exhibition, but obviously the judges don’t :)
