A post on FaceBook reminded me that I’ve got lots of drone shots that I haven’t posted. Drone shots were a natural extension to my ‘above’ shots where the model lies on the floor and I hold my camera above her using a monopod.
Here’s a few of Lulu amongst some daffodils we found. I love the poses as it looks like she is flying through the field.
We both loved the wonderful colouring in these rocks.
And when we find rocks jutting out to sea you can get some interesting compositions.
This circle of logs was made by us, as it looked a little plain with just the piles of wood. Lying in what is basically mud did tend to make Lulu rather dirty though.
And finally a couple of some steps which provided a nice frame for Lulu.
Many thanks again to Lulu for all her posing and patience while I attempt to fly the drone!
I’ve also created a gallery of previously posted drone shots – https://timpile.co.uk/galleries/drone-shots

Superb shots Tim. It is beautiful. You are a master photographer !
Have a nice and pleasant day,
Pierre Bouillon
Thanks Pierre, and Lulu is a master model :)
Beautiful set of images xx
Thanks Elizabeth.
The top two pictures show an angel flying trough a heaven full of stars. . . .
But the whole set is beautiful. Having seen more than one drone crash out of control I think Lulu is very brave lying there with that hovering overhead.
Thanks Richard, those first two do have a surreal look.
It’s a pretty good drone, plus I just take it up then down so hopefully quite a small chance of a crash.
Incredible set of images Tim, beautifully posed by Lulu!
Cheers Colin, using a drone allowed Lulu to be really creative with her posing.
