Recently I’ve worked with quite a few models that I hadn’t worked with before. Many photographers prefer to approach models who they wish to work with, while I do this I’m also happy for models to approach me if they feel we can produce images that develop my current portfolio. So I was really pleased when the lovely Romi Muse told me she was visiting the UK and asked whether I was interested in working with her.
I was not quite sure where to take Romi, when I was fortunate to receive an email giving me the opportunity to work in a grand old house. I thought this would be a great opportunity as I’d not seen shots of Romi in this type of environment before.
You soon know when you are going to work well with a model, and we had an extremely fun and productive shoot with loads of very interesting sets. I think I often show too many images in a blog post, so thought I’d show some images from just a single set.
I like to give a model a prop to work with, as it can encourage their imagination, so was pleased to find a rocking horse in one room. Romi really had fun with it, and here’s some of the things that Romi got up to.
Thanks Romi for a really super shoot, there are loads more images to come from the numerous other sets, and I look forward to your next visit to the UK :)
