I’ve just had a great shoot with a friend and talented photographer from the US, who I have known and worked with periodically during the past nine years.
He loves shooting in the UK as we have a large selection of great models, we also have a wide variety of locations, both natural and manmade, including ruined buildings and mansions which are rare in his country, and while I may consider a 2 hour drive quite long he considers it a short hop compared to distances in the US between locations. Also, while we may complain about the ever changing weather, he loves it as he is used to near-continuous plain blue skies at home.
While trips to faraway places are nice, I shouldn’t really take for granted all the fabulous locations I have access to in the England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, as well as being able to create images for the past eight years in such places with Lulu, who is such a perfect fit for the type of images we create together.
After tidying up my Lightroom catalogue I have found that there are 291 images that I have edited recently that I have not blogged. So to make a start here’s 9 images of the wonderful Lulu making fabulous use of some old buildings. As for where they were taken I’ll give you some clues, Dracula for the first three, Pineapple for the next two, and Dominic Cummings for the last four.
Thank you to Lulu for putting up with me for the past eight years, and to whoever built these buildings all those centuries ago, as well as those whoe left them in just the right stage of ruin for use to use!
I must appreciate more how lucky I am :)

Thank you David, she is indeed :)
Another superb blog its impossible for me to chose a favourite – Lulu is so beautiful and talented xx
You ARE one lucky fellow Tim, and you are right, I’m so envious of your locations and the many fine models you have to choose among (especially Lulu). I really need to plan more frequent trips to your green isle. Heck, if I could just convince my wife to live there for a year or two! The locations in this blog set are indeed fabulous but I’m afraid your clues are totally lost on me, avid anglophile that I am. Are you alluding to a movie location for the first one at least?
