I was looking through some of the numerous pictures I have created with Raphaella recently, as I will be working with her very soon on a joint shoot on location with my friend Graham Argent, and I realised that I had been very remis in not showing more of our images on my blog.
When photographers talk about Raphaella they often say that you can’t take a bad image of her. Well you probably could if you tried really hard and got her to grimace, but even then she’d probably still look great :)
So given that there will probably be a shortish delay after our forthcoming shoot before any images appear here – although Graham will probably get some on his Flickr stream much quicker – I thought I’d put up some of my favourites that I don’t think I’ve put up before, I certainly have never entered them in any exhibitions.
This is one of my current favourite images, with Raph’s look of innocence.
Now a couple of oldies from probably one of my most productive shoots ever, in a Birmingham office block!
Did I compose it so that her right arm mirrors and follows the shadow of her back, of course I did!
She even looks great when her head is hidden.
Just a quick one from our last shoot in one of the most interesting places we have ever shot!!! I saw her as a Black Angel, and there is a Lightroom Preset called that so I just clicked on it. I will shortly look through more of the images from that day and do some work on them at some stage.
And finally proof that you can’t take a bad image of her, who else would look this good holding a toilet brush :)
Thanks so much Raph for all our shoots, I am really looking forward to our next one and getting something different.

I love your work and yes, the first one is a great shot. I must also say that I am totally confused about the Dark Angel photo.
Thank UP. As for Dark Angel, Raph is often portrayed as Angelic, but I hope to produce some images from that session that are a little darker and less angelic. Plus I wasn’t sure what to do wit that image and I saw the Lightroom Preset with the name, and Voila!
Great shots as always:). The one with the “toilet brush” is just super. I don’t know how you make those things up. Look forward to our shoot.
