I do quite a number of talks to camera club, and this year most of them are my Nude Iceland talk which was the subject of a recent blog post. A recent talk was for a President’s night, where the club President usually shows their own work, or selects the speaker they would like, and he invited me. I was going to give my Nude Iceland talk, but after chatting to the President at the Master’s of Print opening I decided to do a talk with just images taken in Great Britain, sadly I couldn’t include Northern Ireland as I’ve not done any location work there, although I’ve done plenty in Ireland. Fortunately I have a huge number of suitable images, and it was just a matter of selecting some and putting them into sections suitable for a talk.
My “Nudes in the Landscape – Great Britain edition” talk went down very well, and I realised that I hadn’t shown many of the images in previous blog posts, so I thought I would put that right. We’ll start with some images from Scotland, with images for Wales and England to come in later posts.
The Isle of Skye is very popular, and for very good reason with all the fabulous locations there.
The Moray Coast also has some interesting places, natural and manmade.
And around Ullapool there’s a great variety of places.
