I’m probably more well known for my images outdoors, but I’m just as happy shooting indoors, and this is usually over the colder months or when I’m stopping in a place with great light.
This first set was taken in a villa in the Canary Islands, and I saw the pattern that the net curtain was projecting onto Lulu and thought we wouldn’t be able to shoot, but she thought the pattern looked interesting and she was right as I really like the images.
We did manage to fit a shoot in over the Autumn in a studio, and after remembering the great shots we got in the Canary Islands I bought a selection of gobo masks so that I could project some interesting patterns onto Lulu and the background. The gobo projector lets you change how in or out of the focus the mask is, which allows you to control the effect.
We particularly liked this tree pattern, and Lulu did some great complementary poses.
I’m very pleased with the images and the interesting lighting, and many thanks as usual to Lulu for all her ideas and poses.
