While I may be known for my images of nudes, I also really enjoy taking photographs of models in frocks. I find frock photography more difficult than nudes because as well as needing a suitable location you also need an interesting frock that suits the location.
Fortunately my good friend Tabitha Boydell runs events with amazing locations and frocks, and I have been fortunate to attend a number of them.
Here’s a few from an event in Scotland. First a few of Cloud, using an outfit supplied by Mandy Shaw. Any resemblance to The Handmaid’s Tale is purely intentional!
Then a few of Silk, showing the beauty of the building. Hat by Chanix Millinery
And one of Eowyn with a fab headdress by Mini Hornet.
And another event in Scotland. Starting with a flying shot from Natialie Ciufo Green. Hair by Mum Nett, makeup by Amerz Model-Mua
And a couple from a chapel that had just literally a thin shaft of light to illuminate the models. One of Eowyn, and then one of Silk and Cainivorous. Hair by Mum Nett, makeup by Amerz Model-Mua.
One of Cainivorous outside the chapel.
And another couple of Eowyn making good use of dresses.
A couple of Olivia Clay in a handmade dress by Sarah Gotheridge, make up Makeup artist Derby – Studio 4.6, headpiece Victoria Charles Headpieces
And finally a couple of Xenia in an event in the midlands.
Many thanks to Tabitha for giving me the opportunity to shoot these fab models, and fab frocks at fab locations. Special thanks to the models, and to all the support team for the hair, make-up and headpieces, hopefully I haven’t missed out any credits!
I look forward to doing more events with the Queen of Frocks in the future :)
