Over the Christmas break I was looking for images to edit from past shoots, and I found that many of the images that I really liked were of the wonderful Katy, who sadly no longer models. Through luck rather than judgment I did manage to work with her a couple of times in the year before she retired, and with hindsight I should have worked with her a lot more often than I did.
I would show her the composition of the image I intended to produce, and she would come up with great shapes that fitted in with my composition, the environment and the light. As an added bonus to the great images we produced she was also such fun to work with – her blog used to be called ‘Box Of Frogs’ which gave you some idea of her personality :)
Still, I am so grateful for all the shoots I had with her, and I have been searching through the model portfolio sites and have identified a number of models that are also super at producing shapes with their bodies, I look forward to hopefully producing some great images with them over the coming year, and I will continue my search for new models.
Here are some of the images produced with Katy.
Many thanks Katy, and I hope you are enjoying yourself whatever you are doing.

Good to see these of Katy, Tim she was always such good fun to work with and always gave you 110% to get images that worked.
She was definitely one of the best Richard.
I love the swirling grasses and the shape of the tree stump. They’re like brush strokes.
