I enjoy trying to take a different viewpoint when photographing models, whether it be by lying on the floor, shooting from above with my monopod, or using my drone to get a view that you never really see as a person unless you are in flight somehow.
I often only edit one image from a set, but on this occasion with Lulu I’ve edited four of them as I don’t know which one I prefer, and there were many other great ones from the set that I didn’t edit.
Here’s a selection of other drone shots with Lulu.
Drones work very well near the sea as the sea can look so different from above as in these next two shots.
We also are on the lookout in rocky areas, as again they look so completely different from above.
Many thanks to Lulu for her great poses, and for her ongoing friendship and support.

The top 4 remind me strongly of a Celtic Cross, but I’ve never seen one in either Ireland or Scotland graced with the presence of St. Lulu.
The whole set in this posting are just superb – well done both of you.
Thanks Richard, it does indeed look a bit Celtic.
Excellent photos ! Thank you for sharing. It is always a pleasure to see the beauty of Lulu, the original sceneries and your masterful art. Have a nice and pleasant day ! Pierre Bouillon
Thank you Pierre, we both appreciate it. Have a great day yourself.
It wasn’t until I read Richard’s comment that I realised what the surroundings reminded me of. I agree – they definitely bring to mind a Celtic Cross. I personally prefer the first image.
Thanks David, well you are both Scottish so maybe that’s why.
Another great blog Tim with superb images Of the set of four I much prefer the first image but they all have something uniquely to offer My favorite of the last four is the very last image you have posted Overall eight beautiful images xx
Thank you, as always , Elizabeth. The last one is very reminiscent of an oyster shell.
Great to see you embracing technology,Mr Pile, you’re way ahead of me😁To be honest I find this perspective challenging to get used to in photographs. Not that they aren’t great photos, they just seem to play with my mind’s eye like a fish seen out of water or a zebra at the North Pole. 😋😋😋😋
