I’m always looking for interesting places to shoot in, so when my good friend and talented photographer Jay Haines mentioned she’d got permission to shoot in a high-end furniture showroom I was very envious, which quickly turned to joy when she asked me whether I would like to join her.
The model was the stunning Zoi, who I have had the pleasure of producing some great images with before, which you can see in a blog post from last year.
I just loved these quilts and pillows, and thought it looked quite surreal her selecting her quilt while nude.
All good furniture shops have a ball pool, and this gave me a great opportunity for some shots from above. The balls are very bright, so I also tried a slightly desaturated version which is a bit easier on the eye.
The furniture was very elegant, and I loved the shape of this chair.
This was at the entrance to the kitchen department.
A couple of obligatory shots from above :)
And finally a very brightly coloured sofa near the entrance.
Many thanks to Jay for inviting me onto the shoot, to Zoi for being such a great model, and especially to the furniture showroom for letting us use their wonderful facility.
