I’m not very imaginative with blog post titles, so given that this series of images are of Lulu on some rocks – limestone pavement to be precise – then “Lulu Rocks” came to mind, except I realised that I already had a blog post with that title in 2017, hence the imaginative insertion of the word “still” ;)
Lulu and I have just planned where we are shooting together over the next nine months, and it’s no surprise that quite a few of those locations involve rocks in some shape or form. They provide a great contrast in colour, texture and softness/hardness with Lulu’s skin, as well as proving objects with which Lulu can interact or be framed.
The first one is Lulu in what appears to be a shelter on the limestone pavement, with a little hair flick adding to the pose. The interesting sky help as well.
Amazingly trees manage to grow on the pavement, and from the size of this tree it’s been growing for many decades and provided a great platform for Lulu.
Another tree, rather younger than the last one, and the direction of the light was just perfect to allow the hill in the background to be a great backdrop.
And while the pavement looks interesting from a side view it looks even more interesting from above with these two drone shots..
Many thanks to Lulu for all these great images. And let’s hope that 2022 brings less disruption than 2021 bought to many of us.

Your drone shots give an interesting and unusual perspective. Cash in while relatively few photographers are using drones.
Fine work as ever Tim and Lulu.
Wonderfully imaginative poses – capitalising on the terrain to blend organic and inorganic forms together.
Beautiful poses by Lulu great photography by Tim you really do work together so well xx
