I don’t enter as many exhibitions as I did when I was working towards my various FIAP distinctions, and those that I do enter are generally print exhibitions, as I am a firm believer that an image is best appreciated when printed.
One exhibition I do enter is Midphot, which is short for Midlands Photography, and entry is open to all photographers who are members of camera clubs based in the Midlands of England, of which there are around 100 clubs.
I entered 3 sections: Colour Prints, Monochrome Prints, and Projected Digital Images. I entered 8 images in each section, and coincidentally had 6 images accepted in each section. I was extremely pleased that 4 of my 6 colour prints won awards, as did 2 of my 6 monochrome prints, and I was especially pleased that one of the monochrome prints won the best monochrome print of the exhibition.
Here are the accepted and awarded images. You will see that, although I only enter images of a single genre, I try to make them as varied as possible so that I am not competing against myself too much!

Many thanks to the models who created these images with me, in order of appearance: Anete, Lulu, Rebecca Tun, Nausicaa Yami and Carid Celis. Thanks also to the hard working organisers of the exhibitions, and especially to the judges for their wonderful judgement ;)

Thank you Glyn. My other images in MOP were nudes, and they accepted one of them in the Salon De Refuses.
I gained my MFIAP 6 years ago.
Congratulations, definitely award worthy. Incredible work, awards or not.
Thank you David
