My friend and fellow creative Roger Noons has written more poems to go with some of my images, as he did in a previous post. It’s interesting to see a different person’s perspective on some of my images, as generally I just produce images and make the titles as vague as possible so as to allow the viewer to decide for themselves what the images are about. I hope you enjoy the poems as much as I do.
Fractured;
paned pain;
solitude in blue.
Fading roses;
tattered paper;
sunflower in sadness;
figure blossoms.
My fervent wish,
my dream, is for the return
of the one who stole
the contents of my heart.
An opening has arisen
within our establishment.
The successful applicant
will have poise, grace and be
prepared to bend over backwards
to beautify our surroundings.
Apply within.
Thanks again to Roger and all the models concerned.

I recall last September you wanting to evolve or reinvent yourself, Mr Pile.
I’ve noticed a change in your work. When I imagined your past work I would
think of larger-than-life, big sky, exploding visions of nature or humanity.
Now I see vulnerable souls, fragility, and worn/aged material.
Has the Great Mr Pile entered his Picasso’s blue period?
I’ll be watching…..
An interesting comment Mr Pope, but unfortunately the appearance of images on my website and blog and when they were taken are very rarely related. So some of these images are quite early work. Thanks for the comment though.
Well then, I liked the doorways…
