One of the things I like about my blog is that people really only come to look at the pictures, so after about ‘now’ I can write what I like as nobody is really reading, and I can do a bit of self-analysis.
It’s often good to look at images from past shoots, not only because you can see where you’ve come from, but often you find gems that you haven’t shared with people, and discover that actually in some specific aspects you’re photography appears to be getting worse as time goes on, and you maybe have something to learn from the old ‘you’.
Going through my old images a lot of the pictures are of Holly who I have worked with on a number of occasions.

And finally a couple of shots taken on one of my favourite and most productive shoots with Holly. These pictures were overlooked because of the many other great shots we got that day.
Sorting through these images has already given me lots of ideas and enthusiasm for future shoots, taught me a lot, and bought back many happy memories of these and other shoots. It’s also cleared my thoughts on where I want my photography to go in the future, it’s such a great hobby with so many lovely models and photographers around. As someone at work recently said “You’ve get the best hobby in the world, you have” – I couldn’t disagree!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
These are warm and comforting images. And needless to say, well done.
I am entertained by the old studio photo. I read into it that Holly has just punched through the wall and is making her escape. ;)
In the portrait Holly’s expression is like she just spotted a deer running through the woods. (The woman with a million faces)
